Serengeti

Seronera Wildlife Lodge
Built around an enormous rock in the heart of the Serengeti, the Seronera Wildlife Lodge is ideally situated to watch the migration go by. Located a six hour drive or one hour flight from Arusha to Seronera's dirt strip "airport", it has 75 rooms with ensuite facilities and both the bar and the restaurant overlook the savanna.

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Clusters of elegant thatched huts form a very upmarket "traditional" African village with views ot the migration in May/June on the plains below. The lodge has 66 ensuite rooms with a panoramic view from individual verandas and a swimming pool.

Migration Camp
A first class camp in the north eastern Lobo area with 13 en suite tents built at the base of a Kopje. It has a very comfortable bar, a reading library and a swimming pool. Activities include game drives.

Grumeti River Camp, Western Serengeti
One of Conservation Corporation's refurbished facilities in the Serengeti. Set in the Western Corridor with year-round game-viewing, it is a secluded, luxurious retreat with 10 private en-suite tents and communal dining on the banks of the Grumeti River where crocs and hippos are common. The visitor has the choice of flying or driving in and the driver guides have been highly trained to maximise the visit.

Kirawira Camp, Western Corridor
The Serengeti's most upmarket camp with Victorian and African craftmanship complementing each other. Set atop of a hill overlooking the endless savanna its 25 double tents with ensuite facilities are luxurious without being ostentatious. The dining room menus are unrivalled on the circuit. Activities include game drives in the Serengeti in open Landrovers. The lodge has a small but charming pool with a spectacular view. The jewel in the Serena group's crown.

Klein's Camp
This Conservation Corporation camp is just outside the northeastern Serengeti on a 12,500-hectare exclusive-use concession just south of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Set in the bush-covered Kuka Hills, Klein's has eight comfortable, tastefully appointed ensuite cottages with private verandas, built from local rock and thatch. Elephants can be seen on the plains below, day and night drives and walking safaris (both of which are not allowed within the Serengeti National Park) are provided. The lodge has a swimming pool.

Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Situated near the Nyaroboro Hills in the Moru area (45 min. drive from Seronera in the South West of the Serengeti National Park), this lodge offers comfortable accomodation in 102 ensuite rooms with a sliding "window wall" opening to a veranda with sweeping panoramic views of the Serengeti. The Lodge has a swimming pool, satellite TV and video. Lobo Wildlife Lodge - Openened 25 years ago the Lobo Wildlife Lodge is noted for its stunning architecture and the year-round elephants and buffalo. Sculpted into a rock kopje, it occupies the commanding heights in the northern section of the Serengeti through which the migration passes on its way north and south. Built entirely from wood and glass the lodge has 75 rooms and a natural rock swimming pool.

Ndutu Safari Lodge
Situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the southern border of the Serengeti National Park, Ndutu offers simple yet charming accommodation in 30 ensuite cabins and several tents - a strategic base to watch the wildebeest migration in the early months of the year (May/June).


Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
This luxury lodge, constructed from local ivy covered stone, has been built into the northern crater rim. From each of the 75 rooms the view into the crater is breathtaking. Activities include game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater where visitors can easily see all of the "Big Five".

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Perched on the rim of the crater, guests are accommodated in 30 private cottages separated into three camps, North, South and Tree camp. The African design is complimented with en suite facilities, each with a deck offering dazzling views of the crater floor 500 meters below, grand chandeliers, magnificent hand carved four poster beds and a fireplace. Nogorongoro Sopa Lodge
Perched on the very edge of the Ngorongoro World Heritage Site, each rondavel-style suite has stunning views into the Crater as well as a luxury bathroom, a private lounge and an enclosed veranda. As in all Sopa lodges, each room is a suite with two Queen-sized beds. Main areas enjoy magnificent views through double story windows. There is open fire places in the bar, lounge, and dining room as well as a swimming pool and gift shop. Satellite TV and video is available.

Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
The lodge is perched on the rim of the crater at 2,286 metres above sea level, offering a breathtaking view of the crater. 75 ensuite bedrooms with central heating, a lounge with panoramic windows and an observation deck provide good quality comfort.

Gibb's Farm
A small and intimate hotel situated on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands. It is a charming stopover between Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater surrounded by coffee plantations and lush gardens. The main facilities - lounge, dining room, shop - are all situated in the old farmhouse, while sleeping accommodation is in 15 double rooms.


Lake Manyara

Kirurumu, Lake Manyara
A luxury tented lodge built on the Gregorian Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Set in this stunning location, it overlooks a spectacular panorama of seemingly untouched Africa. Kirurumu is built of local materials offering 20 well spaced tents, each raised on a base of natural stone. Bedrooms are comfortable with twin or double beds and modern en-suite bathrooms.

Maji Moto, Lake Manyara
This small luxury tented camp is the only tourist resort inside Lake Manyara National Park. Named after the nearby hot springs (Maji Moto means "hot water"), guests are accommodated in 10 spacious luxury tents with modern en suite facilities. The exclusive Conservation Corporation camp situated on the southern shore of the soda lake affords a panoramic view of millions of flamingos, pelicans, waders, and other bird species. Fine cuisine and personalized service are part of the 'Grand Safari' atmosphere.

Manyara Serena Lodge
The Lodge has a dramatic setting overlooking both the Great Rift Valley and the beautiful soda lake of Manyara as well as the Manyara National Park with its lavish supply of birdlife. Tarangire

Tarangire Safari Lodge
An exclusive but informal tented camp. Thatched roof canopy protects the 35 tents and bandas from the African sun while private verandas overlook the river valley - an extremely popular spot for resident animals.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Nestling amongst the Baobab trees in Tarangire National Park, this all suite property truly reflects Sopa Lodges' 5 star policy of providing 'luxury in the bush'. Marble floors, fountains and waterfalls, magnificent views through double-story windows are the stunning features of the main areas, while the suites have luxury bathrooms, private lounges with mini-bar and balconies overlooking unspoiled African landscapes. The swimming pool is intriguing with it's island and integral bar. Al fresco dining is offered on the raised barbecue terrace.

Oliver's Camp
An exclusive camp close to the Tarangire National Park. Each tent is furnished with wooden beds, coffee tables, camp-style wardrobes, wash basins and toilet-shower extentions. There is a well stocked library tent showing wildlife documentaries every night. Camp lighting is subtle; 12 volt inside the tents and hurricane lamps outside. Tarangire Treetops - This camp features 15 luxury en-suite tents, built atop tree-attached platforms, overlooking the Tarangire Sand River. The camp has been superbly blended into the environment with the sleeping platforms built into a variety of Baobab, Mopani and Wild Fig trees. The dining area is situated close to the swimming pool and elephant water hole.


Arusha

Mountain Village Lodge
Nestling in the heart of a coffee estate outside Arusha, Mountain Village's simple but comfortable accommodation is in 40 romantic rondavels thatched with banana stems. The lodge offers modern en-suite bathrooms and incredible flowering gardens with panoramic views of snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Duluti, and Mount Meru. Momella Lodge Arusha National Park
